qr-code_230

QR Code Reader

2D QR code readers based on optical technologies are used. Depending on the use case, QR codes are read by visitors or badges. Example applications for QR codes are the identification of a visit process, as well as the person attending, the recognition of ID cards or many other application scenarios. The QR Code Readers are available as either desktop or built-in versions. Optionally, the QR functions can also be provided directly via a camera of an end device (e.g. tablet, PC, etc.).

RFID Reader

The RFID readers are used for communication with current RFID technologies. This means they read the badge number of the RFID media used by your employees, business partners, visitors. Likewise, e.g. key rings with RFID transponders can be read and you can thus map further business processes. The readers can be used as desktop or built-in variants, e.g. as readers in the issuing and return machines, as release and acknowledgement readers, etc.
The RFID readers used by gis are products from Germany.

RFID badge retraction

The RFID redemption machines take back the RFID badges from the badge holder. The badges are identified, i.e. the RFID badge number is read. Optional check routines can control appropriate actions (e.g. exit clearance is granted or not granted, the visit is automatically terminated as well as the appropriate control of barriers, turnstiles etc.).

rfid-personalisierung-230

RFID personalization

Using a special vending machine, RFID badges can be issued or withdrawn in one device and even customized with rewritable technologies. The component has a considerable installation depth and can therefore only be installed in larger housings (indoor and outdoor).

Personal ID Scanner

Personal ID scanners are capable of reading data from a sovereign medium (e.g. an ID card). Basically, optical or contact devices can be used. The determined data can be used for a very fast, customer-oriented and at the same time reliable identification (or parts of it). The devices are available for use in self-service devices as well as desktop devices.

printer-230

Printer

A printer in a self-service column is able to print individualized information on paper and deliver it to the person. An integrated cutting function separates the paper from the roll.

Voice over IP

Telephone functions can be mapped via a “Voice over IP (VoIP)” based call station. Mechanically built-in speed dial keys or a number field can be stored further specific functions as well as applications.

Touchscreen

The monitors have a so-called PCAP technology. This capacitive technology recognizes touches from fingers (or special pens) – a feature we use every day when using smartphones or tablets.
Depending on the monitor type, different form factors and resolutions can be implemented. Recommendation here: 22″ with Full HD resolution.
The touch monitors can also be used to make text entries via keyboards that can be displayed (by the operating/kiosk system).
If processes with higher privacy requirements are implemented at the self-service stations, so-called “privacy filters” can optionally be attached directly to the monitors (no possibility of retrofitting on site).
