Digital Identity Management #DIM
Secure and reliable provision and management of digital identities for the unique identification of natural persons.
In times of digital transformation, it is common for a natural person to have multiple user accounts as an employee of a company. Depending on the systems used and business processes (e.g. a natural person is hired as an external employee and is then taken over), several person master records may exist for a natural person.
#DIM is the software solution to ensure that a unique and comprehensive identity exists for each employee for central authorization management! This way, you can be sure that every person master record, every account, every authorization can be clearly traced back to the applicable natural person via a DI code number.
In order to determine the digital identity, a duplicate check is first performed to determine whether multiple personal records exist for a natural person. When duplicates are identified, these personal records are merged into a Digital Identity and for each of these groupings, an identifier is assigned that represents a unique association of (one or more) records with a natural person.
Unique digital image of the natural person
The digital identity is completely separate from the subsequent authorizations; it uniquely refers to the authorized person and is thus a mirrored digital image of the natural person.
Duplicate merging
If a natural person is created more than once in the system (e.g., as an internal and external employee), these records are identified by the duplicate check and linked to a digital identity.
Automated and rule-based processing
Independent administration and approval of authorizations is possible via workflow control. All permissions point to the same digital identity – and thus to the applicable natural person.
Data transfer to #DIM – the data records are transferred via interfaces, initially and in case of changes, to the digital identity management software solution #DIM.
During the incoming inspection, the data sets are checked for their quality, and only suitable data sets are used to form a DI.
This is followed by the duplicate check to generate the DIs. The records are checked for proximity and distance by the DupDetector service.
For DI formation, the evaluation and assignment of hits is performed. Depending on the result, the data set is assigned to an existing DI or a new DI is formed.
